🎮 Overview

What makes Dodge Master stand out?

Dodge Master drops a small pixel knight into a castle hall and fills the air above him with magic fire. The flames come in waves, each with its own pattern: straight rain, whole curtains with a single gap, slanting sweeps, fans and spirals thrown by a floating orb, and laser beams that flicker a warning before they fire. There are two ways to play. In Endless the waves keep coming, faster and thicker, until something hits you. In Levels there are a hundred fixed stages, each ending with a boss. Every wave in Dodge Master is built to leave a way through; finding it in time is the whole game.

Game Rules

Your knight stands on the castle floor and can run left and right or jump. Touch a flame or stand in a laser beam and the run is over. In Endless your score is the number of seconds you survive, and new patterns join as the waves go on, until two of them can arrive at once. In Levels every stage plays out exactly the same way each time: the same flames, from the same places, at the same moments, so a stretch that beat you once can be learned. Each level ends with one of ten bosses, from the Slime King to the Dark Sorcerer, whose health drains over three phases while you survive its attacks.

🕹 How to play Dodge Master?

Step-by-step to play Dodge Master:

1. Choose Endless for a survival run, or Levels to pick a stage from the ten chapters.
2. On a phone, rest your thumb on the strip under the floor and slide it: the knight follows your thumb, and your thumb never covers him.
3. Flick upward or tap to jump. You can jump in the middle of a slide.
4. On a keyboard, move with the arrow keys or A and D, and jump with Space, Up or W.
5. Watch the top of the hall: the flames appear there, and a flickering line means a laser is about to fire.
6. When a run ends, press Retry or Space and go again.

Tips for mastering Dodge Master:

- Stand still whenever you can. A flame falling straight down will miss you, and moving for no reason walks you into the next one.
- Curtain rows always have a gap, and they drift sideways as they fall. Follow the gap instead of waiting under it.
- A jump lifts your head into the fire. Save it for flames skimming low from the side.
- A laser warns you for almost a second. Step out of its line early and wait for the beam to fade.
- In Levels, the bar at the top shows how far you are and where the boss begins, with your best attempt marked in gold.
