About Monster Evo

🎮 Overview

What makes Monster Evo stand out?

Monster Evo is a 3D runner where you grow a monster from a tiny slime into a jungle-shaking kaiju. Every level starts with a little green Slime wobbling down a jungle trail. It walks by itself, and all you do is steer. Every hunk of meat it eats adds Power, and as the Power climbs the monster evolves before your eyes: the Slime becomes a Baby Dino, then a T-Rex with a huge jaw, a Kaiju with plates down its back, and finally a Fire Kaiju of charcoal and lava. And size is not just for show: the bigger your monster, the more it can Stomp. A Baby Dino flattens crates and barrels, a T-Rex flattens bamboo fences, and a Kaiju flattens rolling boulders and whole grass huts, and everything it can crush carries a paw sign. Along the way you meet gates with two doors: one might say +10 or ×2, the other −8 or ÷2, and the one you walk through changes your Power at once. Stomps and Near Misses fill your Rage gauge; fill it and your monster roars, breathes fire and charges through anything in its way. At the end of the trail stand ten walls of an old temple, each worth a bigger multiplier, and you smash as many as your Power can pay for. Monster Evo has no end: there is always another level.

Game Rules

The monster never stops, so the only choice is where to be on the trail. Eat meat, choose a door at each gate and deal with what is in the way: crates and barrels, bamboo fences with a single gap, boulders rolling across the trail, villages of grass huts, spiked logs spinning on stumps, spiked boulders swinging on vines, quicksand that drains your Power every moment you stand in it, and pit traps that swallow half your Power. Anything your monster is big enough to Stomp is crushed flat for extra Power; anything bigger is a crash that knocks about a third of your Power off. Swinging boulders, spiked logs, quicksand and pit traps can never be stomped. If your Power runs out, your monster is knocked out and the run is over. Four Stomps, Near Misses or golden meat fill the Rage gauge: for a few seconds the monster is faster, jumps pits, ignores quicksand and sends anything it touches flying. At the finish every temple wall costs the same Power to smash and carries a multiplier from ×1.2 to ×5, so the last one you smash decides what the level pays. Every fifth level is a boss level: longer, harder and worth double. Each level is the same course every time, so a tricky stretch can be learned.

🕹 How to play Monster Evo?

Step-by-step to play Monster Evo:

1. Tap the screen, or press Space, Enter or a direction key on the menu to start.
2. On a phone or with a mouse, hold and drag left and right to steer. On a keyboard, use the arrow keys or A and D.
3. Eat meat to gain Power and watch your monster evolve.
4. At each gate, read both doors and steer through the better one.
5. Stomp anything with a paw sign over it, and dodge the rest. Stomps and Near Misses fill your Rage.
6. At the finish your monster smashes the temple walls by itself, then turns round and roars. Collect the coins you earned and spend them on Start Power and Income upgrades before the next level.

Tips for mastering Monster Evo:

- Look at the gate before you look at the food. A ×2 door is worth more than any row of meat in front of it.
- A bad gate always has a way out: if both doors are bad, one of them is ÷2, and halving rounds up, so it can never knock you out by itself.
- Watch for the paw signs. The moment your monster evolves, things that used to be dangerous turn into free Power.
- A Slime cannot stomp anything, so play the first seconds of every level carefully and grow fast.
- On Rage you can walk straight through anything, so use it to take the gate you could not reach.
- Swinging boulders only hit in the middle of their swing, so the edges of the trail stay clear.
- Buy Income early. It multiplies the pay of every level after it, while Start Power only helps at the start of a run.

❓ FAQs

Q: Is Monster Evo free to play?
A: Yes. It runs in the browser with no download and no install, on a phone or a computer.

Q: How many monsters are there?
A: Five, and you grow through all of them in every level: Slime, Baby Dino, T-Rex, Kaiju and Fire Kaiju. The more Power you carry, the bigger the monster and the more it can stomp. Lose Power and it can shrink back.

Q: What happens if I run out of Power?
A: Your monster is knocked out and you can try the level again. You can also watch a short ad to Keep Stomping from where you were.

Q: Is my progress saved?
A: Yes. Your level, coins and upgrades are kept on your device, and when you are signed in the levels you clear go to the leaderboard.

🏆 Conclusion

Eat everything, pick the right door, stomp what you can and dodge what you cannot, and turn a tiny slime into a fire-breathing kaiju before the finish. Every level is a new chance to smash all ten temple walls. Monster Evo is ready when you are.
